Product Preparation including pricing, cutting and wrapping fruit and vegetables ready for sale. Pricing Management for all products in store. Determining which product lines are able to generate profit via different pricing strategies. Updating cash register system of prices on a daily basis. Marketing - sign writing, product setup, dealing with shopping centre management and advertisements in the local paper for product promotions. Stock Control - management of stock levels including identifying stock refill requirements, new product line purchases and determining products to discontinue. Regularly and proactively opening and closing of shop in a timely and organised manner. Human Resource Management including building staff morale/motivation, hiring and training of employees, staff rostering and OH&S including safe food handling practices. Office Administration including business banking, issuing payslips, wages, preparing quaterly BAS. Ensuring that the store is kept in a hygienic and clean state.
