Asphalt HC Semi walking floor Driver: Prestart checks of the Heavy Rigid and Semitrailer Trucks e.g. oil, coolant, tyres, kingpin, air and electrical hoses, walking floor, PTO, tailgate, tarp and reporting any issues to our mechanic Drive defensively and handle hazardous road conditions Demonstrated ability to navigating utilising GPS and maps Coupling and un-coupling trailers also checking king pin, air and electrical hoses Communicating and following orders from plant operator and Loader drivers via UFH radio Delivering Asphalt/ Rap and waste to various locations throughout QLD and N.S.W Communicating and following orders of Traffic controllers and Truck spotters via UFH radio Using logbooks and timing breaks in line with the run for the day Filling out paper work for Plant operators and document receipts for managers Complete clean and detail of inside and outside of truck after every shift Completely fuelling up Trucks with diesel and ad blue and topping up oils or coolant if needed so that the truck is ready for the next shift Safety PPE used steel cap boots hard hat and high visible work pants and shirt
