Clean Culvert's with jet rodding truck, working away regularly. • Operating bobcat and 2 tonne Excavator on culvert jobs and drive prime mover water tanker for away work as well. • Safety procedures and documentation practiced religiously. • Although I didn't stay with this employer for a good period of time I enjoyed the hands on work.

Geo Tech Drillers Offsider: • Skipping a few years to condense my resume, I took on a drillers off siding position knowing I like working outdoors and am interested in environmental sciences. • I became very interested in Geology after all I discovered whilst labouring and collecting core samples of the earth below where I worked. • I would assist the driller, handle drill rods attach drill head, collect core sample and document depth of core sample. • Maintain equipment, mix muds to keep existing hole from collapsing and drive truck and rig to and from location. • Safety procedures and practices, SDS's, Hazard controls and observing all the time for change in environmental conditions. • I enjoyed learning all I did with this job wishing I had become a geologist in my youth. I went to drilling for gold learning the operations of reverse cycle drilling in WA later down the track.

Concrete contractor: Concrete Cutter/Driller • Servicing local council for all their concrete cutting needs. • Providing concrete cutting services to local contractors on request. • Maintaining and servicing equipment and learning whatever I could always trying to improve my knowledge. • Working day and night shifts, practising safety procedures, take 5's and risk assessments. • Being diligent to not let run-off slurry go down drains using control methods reducing contaminated water in catchments. • Always cleaning away any mess created on the job displaying a professional attitude.

Concrete Cutter/Driller
Concrete contractor: • Learned all aspects of concrete cutting and drilling. • Obtained White card and being introduced to site inductions and safety procedures. • Operating road saws exposing services for contractors to cutting expansion joints in newly laid concrete slabs. • Using hand and ring saws for all sorts of tasks in the construction and demolition industry. • Hydrologic wall saws on specialized jobs become regular. • Using bolt down drilling stands coring holes for plumbers, air conditioning systems and even in underground drain pipes. • I learned how to measure twice but cut once. I enjoyed working with tools and demolition equipment.

Concrete truck delivery driver: • I achieved a MR truck drivers licence and learned how to slump up concrete to required ratings. • Learned to operate a front end loader and mix different grades of concrete and different strength's. • Driving trucks and operating heavy machinery was the change I was looking for working regular hours and weekends mostly free.
