Field Service/WorkshopHeavy Vehicle Technician: (Truck/Buses) Technician, Incidence/Emergency/On-road Towing/Yard Towing Response Unit Technician Currently employed Full-Time with large corporation/organisation in confidence Duties Involved: - Delegated repair jobs to perform as per priorities/peak requirements on heavy vehicles truck/buses major/minor repairs as appropriate to fulfil in service/uptime of vehicles - Perform major/project heavy vehicle repairs planned in house or advise if resources limited to have significant repairs referred/out-sourced to OEM/third party outfit - Provide a crash course observation/demonstration to prospective novice Apprentices taking on complex/highly technical repair/overhaul/service tasks and oversee/supervise work/task engaged as per prioritising/systematic management and on accomplishment of all work task carry out comprehensive final inspections including and not limited to on-road/yard test/inspection driving - Carry out complex high level and intricate repairs and diagnostics as required and instructed from management task/jobs incomplete or work in progress due to misdiagnosis or not yet identified for reasons of complicated nature of issue also when on duties as standalone technician/leading hand relief, assist with Control Centre via hand held radio (CB Radio communications) or landline office communications as appropriate for technical support of Heavy vehicle operators (Buses/Trucks) and Incidence Response (Breakdown Retrieval Changeovers or Towing) handling all responsibilities in a confident, clear and professional manner and constitute solutions to control centre to maintain on-time running and in service availability for heavy vehicle operators and vehicles in a safe and practical manner - Adhere to all WHS, Emergency, workplace policies and procedures and attend to all in-house meeting and personnel on-going heavy vehicle product/safety training on a continuous basis as require for business and personal development accountabilities.
