  Compliance Officer Linehaul Controller: Duties: Planning the safe allocation of loads for Interstate Heavy Vehicle Contractors and Rail Containers on a daily basis (up to 30 loads per day over a 7 day period). I maximise fleet available daily both Road and Rail. I forward plan the use of Contractor Drivers to enable the Management of their driving Hours. Daily planning and issuing Safe Drive Plans where required for routes Inter and Intrastate. I conduct Site and Procedure Inductions for new contractors and employees. Entering load information into a "Live" National excel spreadsheet sheet to inform other Depots of what freight is allocated to each load departing Brisbane. Driver Handover prior to departing the Depot to ensure the Driver knows exactly what his role is with regards to C.O.R and Company Policy. Driver De-Briefing at the end of the planned trip to enable a better understanding of what occurred and how improvements can be made to future trip plans. Attending Weekly Compliance meetings with Senior Management to audit Safe Drive Plans issued for the previous week and to review any other issues that may have occurred. I complete a Daily Self Audit of my own work daily to ensure total compliance with both Company Policy and relevant legislation. Daily interaction with both Internal and External customers of Toll Refrigerated with regards to freight volume estimates, special requirements for time slotted freight and notification of service failures by Interstate Depots whenever necessary.
