Leading Hand: I worked within the Georgiou Group as the Leading Hand on a Brisbane City Council Road upgrade. My duties on a daily basis consist of corresponding with multiple subcontractors and overseeing a vast variety of site works such as: • Installation of both Stormwater drainage pipes, gully pits and sediment basins • Gravity Sewer Lines and a new Rising Sewer Main • Ductile Iron Water Main and Tapping bands • New Telstra, Communications and Electrical Conduit alignments • TGS and Truck movements • General Earthworks, Pavement Levels and Subsoils • Environmental Controls and Fauna Fencing • Potholing with Vacuum Trucks for existing Queensland Urban Utilities Assets • Installation of Concrete Culverts with a 200-ton Crane

Leading Hand/Operator: My position as a Leading Hand/Operator with PJ Civil consisted of the installation of a Rising Sewer Main, Pump Station and a Gravity Fed Main for the Gold Coast City Council. Duties also included road pavements, asphalting and drainage.
