RESPONSIBILITIES: • Installation (incorporating planning, scheduling, rough-in and fit-off) of both 240V electrical systems & numerous commercial fire alarm systems varying in type, size & manufacturer • Testing, fault finding + commissioning of both 240V electrical systems & numerous commercial fire alarm systems varying in type, size & manufacturer • Complex programming of commercial grade FIP's (fire indicator panel) with varying manufacturers • Leading hand for teams comprised of 2 - 6 apprentices and/or tradesmen Projects: • K1 building (RNA Showgrounds) • 480 queen street (BHP building) • North Lakes Westfield upgrade/extension • Garden city Westfield upgrade/extension Achievements: • Re-assigned from minor to major contracts 2 weeks after commencing employment having demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the fire sector and excellent productivity technical abilities. • Promotion to leading hand • Level 3 programming accreditation Reason for leaving: forced redundancy due to lack of ongoing work. NB: undertook a short term, 4 month employment contract for a specified project
