Key Responsibilities • Contracting via Australian Recruiting Group my role was to support the delivery of a large-scale high profile Rail Infrastructure and Construction engineering project carrying out multiple roles on site as required; • Initially engaged as a Machine Operative but also supported the Civil Construction team in general Labour hire duties, attending daily tool box meeting to establish set duties and tasks required on site; • Additionally tasked as the designated Truck Driver to drive track-laying truck vehicles over partially constructed railway infrastructure taking into account OHS/ WHS on site working in conjunction with the Project Manager; • Ensuring the crew operate in a safe manner on site with a focus on the quality of works we handover as a team; • Operate various machines and elevated rails using hydraulic jacks in order to replace ties on site.
