About Me:

I retired early 2016 to travel and work around Australia I live and travel in a converted bus as a motorhome and am now back in on the north of Brisbane parked up. I worked shift work most of my working career which included weekends etc I have only worked a couple of times since I retired on the Cane Haulout in Queensland driving Acco roadrangers and Iveco autos My heath is good and I am fit and active with no physical limitations I am capable to adapt to almost any job situation

    Fitter: at Rockhampton, and then transferred to the Diesel Shed in Brisbane in December 1996. I was redeployed in 1999 to Long Distance Trains in Brisbane, then moved on to the Electric Train Shed in 2006. Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and repair City Network Rollingstock and associated components and equipment to the required quality standard in the most effective and efficient manner. • Maintain and repair associated equipment and components using current diagrams and test equipment and computer technology. • Co-operate with other section members to assist in the effective scheduling and completion of work requirements within a designated timeframe. • Follow all procedures, work instructions, plans and standards in accordance with best practice performance to ensure good customer service. • Undertake all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety. • Ensure at all times safety and reliability of trains through regular maintenance and repair of wheels and undercarriage within a timely manner. Pre 1995 - Construction Industry I have worked in a variety of positions within the industry. I have experience with pipe , turbine , structural steel work, food processing, timber processing and treatment, research and development and general shut down operation work.
