FIFO 6 weeks on 2 weeks off. • Responsible for the management of the company's entire plant asset fleet including; ◦ Maintaining the fleet asset register and replenishment program including advising on Capex requirements ◦ Review, advise and develop improvement strategies for the company's fleet management ◦ Overseeing remote/project workshops and parts inventory ◦ Overall maintenance planning and ensuring Workshop Managers are delivering on their repair and maintenance objectives ◦ Monitor and manage workshop operations to achieve a cost-efficient target of maintaining availability of equipment above 80% • Support Project Management teams through the provision of outstanding fleet management services. • Work closely with Parts and Supply Chain Manager and Project Parts Officers to ensure effective managements of parts inventory across projects • Working with the Logistics Manager to mobilize fleets of heavy machinery to remote site locations within the shortest possible timeframes to exceed client needs. • Ensure that fleets exceed client specifications for each site with an emphasis on safety features. • Enhance the Company's safety culture and Life Saving Rules by ensuring the fleet is safely operable always • Minimize environmental harm • Maximize the number of PNG Nationals employed through effective training and mentoring programs • Improve technical knowledge for all maintenance and service personnel through co-ordination of training programs.

  Transport Manager: Based on Manus Island in PNG on a FIFO roster and reporting to the Logistics Manager, duties of this role include: • Operating, scheduling, coordinating and maintaining a fleet of 90 Government owned vehicles including Toyota 25 seater buses, trucks, light vehicles and ancillary equipment. • Managing 50 staff on a daily basis working on a rotating Fatigue Based Roster. • Operating all equipment, including forklifts, Heavy Rigid and Heavy Combination trucks which include flat beds, container side loader, refrigerated truck and tilt tray. • Maintenance of roads operating CAT 12H grader, drum roller, backhoe and skid steer. • Training and Assessment of Mobile Equipment Operating Competency of Employees issuing Verification of Competency Certificates. • Coordinate Scheduled Maintenance and Repairs on all Vehicles and Plant.
