Field Technician / Rigger: I have worked with the Alan Campbell Group in the UK and Ireland for Orange installing microwave links. I have gained experience in SDH and PDH equipment, installing dishes from 0.3 to 1.8 metres and have a good range of experience in different working conditions, including rooftops. Vodafone Germany Contract: I have previously worked in Germany for Nokia Siemens Networks installing the new fibre optic equipment for Vodafone ; this included working on the Vodafone BEP 2 roll out which has given me a very good understanding of how their network is set out down to the IP level. In addition to this, I was responsible for installing Tetra radios in Fire Service vehicles; duties included programming of vehicle based and hand-held Tetra radios. I also worked with British Telecom and Easynet, installing SDH and OMS equipment and commissioning new circuits and multiplexers. First year Apprentice: I carried out surveys for British Telecom to enable network distribution equipment to be installed in exchanges safely and efficiently.
