About Me:

I am a qualified auto diesel mechanic (heavy), been in the trade for 44 years. I have served my time repairing every type and brand of machinery and I would like to finish my working career in the transport industry if possible. I have driven all types of off road and on road trucks. Spent 18 months driving interstate as well as on and off due to me work as a mechanic. I have all my load and unload machinery licences, full operating licences and a current HC licence with no demerit points. I have driven flat decks, step decks, floats and low loaders, semi tippers and tankers, logging trucks. I have not driven B-doubles or truck and dog trailers but I am sure I can pick that up very quickly and am very keen to learn. regards Randal

Ensuring all repairs are carried out to the company standards. Jobs completed on time and on budget. Supplying all relevant paper work to the Co-ordinator for end of month invoicing processes. Insuring that all Occupational Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times. Continual training in the work shop for all mechanics and apprentices.

Operating Bulldozers, excavators and motor scrapers as required. Truck was a Kenworth K104 cab over, 600 HP CAT engine and 18 speed manual gearbox. 45 foot step deck trailer. responsible for pre-start checks, driving to conditions, filling out of log book, responsible taking of mandatory rest breaks, driving hours, load and unload, all necessary paper work and the filling out each day of a time sheet supplied to office. Installed a PTO to truck and purchased a semi tipper trailer for a particular project. Used truck as a flat deck. Semi tipper trailer and float/low loader.
