Farmer: I grew up in the country and had to scratch the farming itch after stepping back from the corporate world. Farming on a lifestyle level has allowed me to remain active and quite fit.

Contract bus driver: Relocate tourist buses from Brisbane to Sydney. Tour groups and guide/driver would travel from Sydney to Brisbane, before changing to air travel. I would meet the group at the airport and relocate the bus to the tour company’s HQ in Sydney, before being flown back to Brisbane.

Bus Driver: The thought of working a split shift driving a school bus seemed a good idea at the time, but wasn't really my thing. The driving element was simple enough - even the students seemed, mostly, ok - but the disruption of the split shift basically meant you lost the entire day through travel (almost as long as the paid driving time) and only received enough income to cover the fuel and very little else. It was still a good experience and reminded me how it felt to drive a HR vehicle. Director, Co-Founder, Board Member & Shareholder - Focal Attractions Pty Ltd
