The company has developed the engineering skill and systems to supply a range of bulk solids storage silos for most applications. The company prides itself in supplying storage solutions for Australian and International clients. â— Reporting to the Business Manager in collating accounting data such as Fuel usage for Motor Vehicles for Fuel Rebate, or updating Price list of raw material (entered into Arrow Access) and other statistical Pivot tables for labour costs. â— Daily entry of employee timesheets to record and keep costs up to date for 35 employees which is an integral part in variance reporting â— Seeking costs for special products, raise purchase orders, co-ordinating deliveries within projects schedules â— Inventory control of valuable stock such as Auger Unloader for Silos and Fans for Aeration of product. (Unit price of up to $20,000) â— Creating bill of materials which includes determining the size, weight, price of a unit manufactured, including waste (Off cut). This was based on drawings (printout) or actual design in electronic format in software packages such as AutoCad or Inventor. The Bill or Material consists of several thousand items. â— Creating custom need templates with Excel and Access database to optimise the cutting process by using off cuts efficiently which in turn reduces the cost and environmental aspects of waste management also played a role. Further, I designed a spreadsheet which, based on input from a Sales representative, reduced time required to provide a quote from around 4 hours to 15 minutes. â— Using VBA to simplify recurring (daily) tasks with excel like printing out a custom list with names of employees who didn't hand in timesheets â— Networking; Basic knowledge, setting up of VPN's & RDP's Including maintaining email, networks, web based applications (browser), network printer, Antivirus etc.
