MR Truck Driver: Telstra is the largest telecommunications company which builds and operates telecommunication services to a large area of Australia. Providing customers with fast and reliable telephone and internet network; supplying home / mobile phone, Foxtel broadband and internet access to the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Western regions. Responsibilities: ➢ Coordinate the establishment of Telstra HFC stores located at home office at Zillmere; including ordering and stock take of equipment ➢ Deliver equipment/stock for faults and repairs in van to on site field workers ➢ Respond and repair faults to the Foxtel broadband network involved afterhours and weekend callouts ➢ Communicate with customers on site to ensure quality service delivery ➢ Maintenance of HFC internet network working in a small team - repairing faults and damages to the Foxtel broadband network; this included aerial and underground work - driving 5 tonne elevated platform trucks to jobsite and operation of this machinery - providing advice and guidance regarding repairs and faults to other team members Achievements: ➢ Contribution to development and implementation of HFC stores system providing team members with relevant and available stock supply. ➢ Completion of all Telstra training requirements - Safe work methods and risk management for field workers, Telstra NBN maintenance training, working safely near electrical apparatus and working on poles - network site induction & CATV broadband construction & maintenance practices
