Duties include • Daily Pre-starts on all vehicles' and equipment • Maintenance of all tools, mobile plant and equipment including light and heavy vehicles. • Assist with repairs and overhauls on all drill and ancillary equipment • Add and remove drill rods and other down hole tools and survey equipment • Collect and layout chip and core samples • Mix and test drilling fluids, chemicals and cement mixes • Check and maintain all safety equipment • Assist in the set up, pack down and transportation of all drill rigs and support equipment • Transportation of water for drilling (up to 15,000L) • Assist in the ordering of supplies and equipment for drill rig • Actively participated in daily Pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings with co- workers and team members
