Floor Manager/Team Leader/Facility Supervisor: Key Responsibilities/KPI's • First point of contact for external clients/drivers • Manage blast run times and temperatures consistently • Oversee purchase orders and manage calculation of pallets for stock purposes • Data management of customer details • Provide optimal customer service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders • Effectively manage competing priorities and adapt schedule aligned with changing needs of the business • Overseeing and management of order picking and dispatch • Cross check orders for dispatch and customer details • Set up areas in preparation for dispatch process • Manage on site equipment to ensure all machinery and devices required are charged ready for use ensuring smooth running of daily procedures • Oversee and monitor facility to improve efficiency and implement continuous improvement • Temperature checks and monitoring of customer product in accordance with the recommended standards / food safety act • Prepare team and facility for scheduled on site audits • Set up designated area/s to maximise space and efficiency in preparation for staff to unload/load product and systematically sort receipt of product as per customer needs • Load and unload trucks using forklifts or by hand as required, whilst cross checking paperwork, customer requests and ensuring appropriate temperatures at all times • Liaise with office staff on large order collection and receipt schedule • Liaise with cold store Manager/General Manager to define daily priorities • Proactively monitor day to day activities constantly tracking movement and implementing reactive solutions where required • Re-prioritization to react to changing needs of the business/customer throughout the day • Managing staff schedules for key on-site maintenance such as battery change overs and on-site maintenance • Filling in gaps to ensure there is little to no down time for all staff to ensure requirements for the day are completed. Forming reactive plans to accommodate ever-changing needs of the day • Ensuring blasts are loaded in particular order looking at 48hr turn around buy directing staff and assisting myself hands on if required • Consistently checking evaporators for ice blockages across multiple blasts • Repair and or replace racking when required
