STH QLD INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM LEAD (OPERATIONS/DELIVERY): Brisbane Mar 2019 - May 2021 Airservices Australia, responsible for providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally to the aviation industry. STH QLD INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM LEAD (OPERATIONS/SERVICE DELIVERY)Reporting to National Manager with 14 direct reports. Responsibilities Manage a Technical field work force to provide break-fix and new installation of infrastructure Airservices Australia NAS sites within South Queensland, while ensuring high quality, successful delivery of a high work load over a large area. Provide coaching and mentoring to develop and optimise individual and team capability. Act as regional escalation point for all infrastructure related issues and queries. Provide customer and stakeholder engagement, focusing on customer advocacy and outcomes. Advise stakeholders on security issues and access. Manage end to end delivery of Operations works, including documentation artefacts. Provide assistance in complex scoping and advice in parallel with field workforce including sub-contractors. Conduct weekly and monthly formal reporting to National management and stakeholders. Ensure the ongoing updating and maintenance of all infrastructure information repositories including field work status. Ensure team maintains good WH&S practices and knowledge, and safety standards around facilities work. Achievements Addressed issues of team not meeting Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. This involved improving the team communication skills, improving team cohesion and supporting them through cultural changes. As a result, within 6 months the team had achieved clearance from CASA and was able to meet team objectives and delivery services on time for a demanding workload across a wide geographical area.
