General Manager: My role is to manage the operational, sales, staffing and workplace health and safety functions of the business. Key responsibilities * Managing the daily operations and quality and safety standards of the workshop. * Monitoring production's day-to-day activities to meet project timelines, cost, and quality targets and drive accountability. * Managing invoicing, quoting and tenders for clients and truck dealers * Managing the recruitment process and performance management of staff across the business. * Leading, motivating and influencing the performance of teams * Managing and prioritising projects to ensure the completion of the fabrication process within required timeframes to ensure the delivery of a large production schedule. * Managing all manufacturing functions including fabrication, machining, processing, finishing, assembly, and logistics. * Liaising with sales representatives and contractors to deliver additional work on tilt trays outside the production workshop. * Managing assessment, maintenance, and repairs of tilt trays for customers. * Developing technical drawings using CAD software (TURBOCAD) and reviewing plans, engineer drawings, build specifications with the Production Manager and team. * Undertaking basic hydraulics and hose making Key achievements * Managing the manufacture of over 1100 tilt trays.
