  INCITEC PIVOT (GIBSON ISLAND)

  Process Technician Gibson Island: (BEU) ASX listed Incitec Pivot Ltd are a global manufacturer of commercial explosives and fertilisers, manufacturing nitrogen-based fertilisers at its Gibson Island (GI) site, declared a Major Hazard Facility, employing circa 500 staff. The plant encompasses four plant areas producing 880 tonne/ day of Urea, 920 tonne/ day Sulphate of Ammonia, 600 tonne/ day AdBlue, 140 tonne per day liquid CO2, 880 tonne/ day of liquid Ammonia with a net daily value of $2M profit /day. Key Achievements: ● Played a key role in operationalising increased AdBlue production during National shortage, identified under-used storage capability, allowing production to meet demand. Worked around the clock to maintain, manage and load-out from the facility. Coordinated Load-Out plans, ensured supply met demand, liaising with internal stakeholders to provide conduit during intense period ● Successfully completed the required training and assessments autonomously to become certified as an Operator on site within a short period of time ● Decommissioned plant equipment and infrastructure, providing safe working environment for subsequent disassembly Key Responsibilities: ● Monitors and operates Plant Systems and Equipment under various plant conditions ● Executes start up and shutdown of plant and equipment ● Reports any faults or deviations and initiates notifications for plant maintenance work in accordance with plant productivity ● Communicates and reports any hazards and potential risks to safety that are detected clearly and urgently ● Prepares plant equipment for maintenance repairs and returns to service in a safe and efficient manner as per Work Instruction ● Maintains logs and records for areas of the plant in an accurate and responsible manner in order to identify process deviations ● Complies with PTW procedure and Lock Out / Tag Out procedure to ensure requirements are met for maintenance of plant systems and equipment ● Complies with Operator routines including the laboratory sampling/analysis ● Takes timely, accurate readings, taking corrective action when necessary

Loaded by both excavators, loaders, and hoppers. Stockpiled material as well as dumping on conveyor belts. ● ROLLER OPERATOR on a civil project doing an extension on an airport runway, operating a custom made 27-ton multi wheel roller as well as pad foots and smooth drums.

  Moxy Operator/Offsider: Initially employed in casual labour hire capacity, quickly engaged as a permanent staff member based on initiative taking, team fit and work ethic ● Operate 30-ton CAT Articulated dump trucks on underground mainline/excavation crew, loading from road header conveyor belts and take to various stockpile areas ● Offside for jumbo operators and road header operators ● Assemble and dismantle associated services ● Operate fuel cart and service machinery with diesel, ad blue and grease ● Operate water cart for dust suppression on haul roads and other various tasks ● Comply with all safety regulations and actively involved in safe work practices ● Working a 7/4/7/3 roster ● Back end works Mon - Fri working on a defects crew, EWP operations, repairing the tunnel for the fit out

  Moxy Operator: Operated (40-ton CAT 740) both rear tip and ejector tip, working on a small gold mine operation. The mine was old and had just been re-opened the working area was tight and open cut, operate in all conditions, stockpiling mostly run loads out when required. Loaded by 45-ton excavator in a fast-paced operation with hot seating breaks.
