  Class 5 Tanker Driver: Operated the largest liquid tankers (HPMV) in New Zealand completing Fonterra factory transfers of raw and manufactured milk products from around the north island during the peak milk season on night shift working 5 nights per week over the weekend driving approximately 600 -700 km per night. Routes driven where from Taranaki, Northland, Bay of Plenty into the Waikato to various Fonterra plants and vice versa when needed operating Kenworth vehicles.

  Workpac BMA Peak Downs Coal Mine

  Blasthole Driller: Operated Ingersoll Rand DMM3 Blasthole drilling rigs and the Ingersoll Rand DM45 Coal drill. Drilled 10" & 3" diameter blastholes to depths of up to 70 meters within the opencast mine site. Conducted prestart inspections of light vehicles and drilling rigs. Assisted trade technicians and specialists with drill repairs and maintenance, daily log keeping, loading/unloading rigs on and off transporting floats, drill site safety checks, paperwork compliance and site training/familiarization were also daily performance objectives.

Successfully completed 200-meter holes, 150 mm in diameter Reverse Circulation sample holes into a magnetite iron ore deposits for Macarthur Minerals Ltd, at Lake Giles in W.A, Australia. Managed and maintained drilling rigs, support vehicles, ancillary plant and equipment, drilling equipment and consumables, tools, PPE safety equipment and stock lists. Supervision and training of drilling crew. Maintained positive client relationships and ensured a positive and supportive environment. Managed our exploration camp with up to 15 - 20 people onsite.

Mobilized and operated the drill rig, drilling tools, rods, cement plant and equipment. Installed Ground Anchors and grout under pressure. Implemented and maintained positive relationships with other onsite contractors and the client.

  Underground Diamond Driller's Offsider: Operated a Boart Longyear LM 75 Diamond Drill Jumbo Drilling rig with HQ/NQ/BQ diamond tooling. Conducted daily Safety checks, worksite inspection, rock scaling, mud mixing, rig maintenance and cleaning, correct clean core and site presentation, concise core measurement keeping, and general offsider duties. Implemented a positive and caring attitude in and out of work. Supervised relief drilling of the drilling rig on the levers when needed. Ensured all aspects of the drilling operation was as efficient and safe as possible. Became a trusted and reliable team member.

  Blast hole Driller, Senior Operator: Orica Mining Services, Auckland, New Zealand Operated an Atlas Copco 360 and Roc L8 Blast hole rigs. Drilled 4-inch blast holes through unconsolidated overburden to meet the coal seams at depths ranging from 5 - 30 meters. Maintained drilling rigs and ensured correct record keeping. Worked alongside the shot firing crew and fostered positive relationships directly with Solid Energy and other contractors onsite.
