Leading Hand/Site Supervisor: Management of hard and soft civil landscaping and earthwork operations. Working within the Tier 1 infrastructure and commercial industry to create public spaces for the community on projects such as the Metro Tunnel, Rozelle Interchange in Sydney, Level Crossing Removal and VSBA Schools Bundle. Delivery of projects on time and under budget, while maintaining and creating relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Supervision and delivery of complex play areas including, subcontractor management, labour hire management, plant and machine management, material ordering. Set out and prep for softfall play areas, play equipment, footpaths, footings, slabs, furniture, shelters. Turf and plant stock management. Successful completion of Metro Tunnel, East and West Portals. Positive relationships were established with both the principal contractor and architecture client to overcome supply and design challenges resulting in favourable variations to the original contract. HL asked facilitate a National Tree Day with Sunbury Primary School kids as a result of successful relations with Metro Tunnel Client. Aircraft Station LXRA favourable variations to contract due to size adjustment of storm basin design missed by client during tender period. Communication with client about design changes to establish innovative and appropriate solutions for project and budget. Use of Aconex, Hammertech and 3DS Safety Systems. Training and mentorship of younger staff/labourers as well as fellow female employees.
