About Me:

I am writing to express my interest in the HC Driver position. After 18 years in the health sector, including five years as an Operations Manager with NSW Ambulance, I am seeking a new and rewarding challenge in the transport industry—an area I am passionate about and confident I can thrive in. While I do not yet have professional experience operating heavy vehicles, I bring 12 years of experience driving emergency vehicles in high-pressure, high-risk conditions. This background has developed my advanced defensive and situational driving skills, including hazard awareness, risk management, and safe vehicle operation—all of which provide a solid foundation for adapting to the demands of HC driving. Alongside my driving experience, I offer strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills. I have overseen complex teams and systems, enforced strict safety and compliance procedures, and led critical decision-making processes in dynamic environments.
