  Driver / Transfer Station Operator: • Drive vehicles requiring a heavy combination license HC truck and dog HC truck and Quad • Operate Councils Backhoe/Loader, Articulated Loader and Forklift to load and unload goods / materials including waste, hard waste, recycle and green waste materials in accordance with approved procedures• • Ensure that the vehicle is correctly weighed at the Transfer Station and is within legal limits• • Deliver bins and skips in accordance with a prearranged program• • Remove rubbish from Council buildings and other sites• • Assist in the operation, maintenance and cleaning of the Transfer Station Facility, Recycling Facility and Green Waste Facilities• • Direct visitors to the depot to the appropriate location they require• • Act as an attendant at the gatehouse for all staff and visitors entering the depot• • Assist in control of traffic through the depot• • Ensure the Depot and surrounds are kept in clean condition• • Collect and balance Transfer Station fees• • Assist in after---hours emergencies•
