  Driver: - Provide emergency response to patients suffering from acute illness, injury or disease. - Driving ambulances to private houses, public buildings, nursing homes and hospitals. - Systematically evaluating a patient’s condition to form a provisional diagnosis. - Implement a treatment regime, continually monitoring the treatment regime until arrival at a hospital for definitive treatment. - Ensure all information gathered through the evaluation process and all treatments undertaken were recorded either manually or electronically on a legally binding document, an ambulance report form.

  Tradesman: - The first 6 months of my time working with the Queensland police service were spent training to become a constable of police at the Oxley police academy. - Involved completing the Police Recruit Operational Vocational Education (PROVE) program. - Learning Queensland legislation, Driver training; Scenario based learning to interpret legislation in a simulated work environment, defensive techniques and physical training. - Posted to Warwick to commence the First year constable program, which involved undertaking the duties of a sworn officer while under the guidance of a mentor. - Investigation of alleged offences, traffic infringement regulation, proactive street patrols, community liaison operations, weapons licensing checks.
