Jason Argue, Rig Manager: * Check drilling fluid properties & mixing chemicals and recording this information hourly. * Read gauges to monitor pressure, density rate and adjust pumping procedures as required. * Maintain and monitor pit equipment including pumps, shale shakers, charge pumps and other equipment. * Monitor pump pressures and listening to pumps for signs of malfunctions. * Making repairs to pumps and equipment. * Monitor pit volumes for indications of gain or loss of drilling fluids and reporting this information to the driller, tool pusher and company man. * Maintenance of Centrifuge * Help out on Drill Floor while tripping in/out and making up and breaking down BHA whilst also running Pipe Handler * Nipple BOP's up and down * Assist in rigging up, rigging down and transporting of drilling rig and equipment. * Operating forklift to handle, sort and move drill tools, pipe and other materials on location. * Operate Komatsu WA 320 Front End Loader and CAT 980 * Operate Non-Slewing Crane * Unload and Assist Trucks with deliveries to site * Greasing and inspecting the crown and all sheaves in the derrick * Perform welding, oxy cutting and grinding * Assisting Driller when needed. * Maintain drilling equipment on the drill floor. * Working at heights for extended hours in all weather during rig operations. * Clean Rig * Learning, following & promoting workplace safety practices. * Relieve Driller in running controls while tripping in/out when asked. * Always teaching and showing fellow employees my duties to further develop their career. * Shift work 12 hour shifts FIFO 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
