OWNER DRIVER: Pick up containers from yard or port. Then take them to customers around Brisbane for live unloading and sometimes to be dropped of by sideloader( Swinglift). Did some refrigerator work as well. After 6 months I put my hand up for sideloader work. That involved me taking containers from yard, port and sometimes pick up from skell trailers to be dropped of at customers site to their liking. Reason for leaving: I couldn’t get enough hours. I needed more.

BARAMBAH ORGANICS
Truck driver, sales and deliveries: I started with driving MR refrigerated truck to do local milk and yoghurt deliveries around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Towoomba. Then when I upgraded my licence to MC I started going to farm near Goondiwindi to bring milk from farm to factory in Darra in HC tanker. And occasionally drive his Road Ranger Westernstar in Goondiwindi to do farm work ( move cattle and tipper trailer). Then I did some sales work in and out of the office. And then I got bored so I left and bought my own truck and started working at Owens. In the mean time I did got job at Qube at port of Brisbane but I decided to go with Owens.
