During this period I progressed from casual to permanent employment and have worked flexible hours including shift work. I have gained experience in Truck and Dog driving, heavy haulage driving, side tippers, front-end loaders, bobcats, excavator and forklifts. Whilst employed by Daracon, I actively participated in and have taken part in many training opportunities to further develop my skills and education including First Aid, Inductions and many certificates and short courses. I practiced and maintained a safe working environment including adhering to Daracon's OH&S, JSA, Take 5's and safe work method statements, manual handling and fatigue management regulations. I am able to identify risk hazards in the workplace, report to the appropriate person and negotiate appropriate strategies to implement. I work in a professional manner and have excelled in working in a team environment as well as unsupervised. I continually liaise and interact with colleagues, customers and management and as a result have sound oral and written communication skills.

During time of employment I safely operated a variety of machinery and equipment including, Skid Steer loader, Excavator, B double, forklift, semi trailer tippers and front end loaders. I adhered to Brambles safety and work regulations whilst working individually and as part of a team on job sites such as BHP Steel Works and Catherine HiIl Coal Preparation Plant and Mines. I have loaded and unloaded various goods including bulk and fragile goods at BHP, Eastern and Western Basin and Throsby wharf's.
