Depending upon client requirements, I carry out a range of services including office relocations, furniture removals, specialised deliveries/sensitive freight, multi-drops, bulk delivery of white goods and long distance driving. RESPONSIBILITIES • Carry out inspections to provide quotes and determine resources, requirements and logistics • Transportation and collection of goods to destinations within limited delivery windows • Organise and coordinate staff; delegating tasks and ensuring a safe work environment • Source and procure external services to assist with high rise or specialist removals • Loading and unloading of freight; utilising safe manual handling techniques • Complete basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment • Liaise with clients; maintaining contact and resolving issues • Accounting, administration, reporting and contracts • Business development and networking ACHIEVEMENTS • I have built up the business through strong client liaison skills and hard work.   Delivery Driver: Delivery Driver 2006 - 2008 During this time, I predominantly delivered Schweppes products throughout the Melbourne CBD. My objective was to ensure timely delivery of goods to a range of cafes and convenience stores. RESPONSIBILITIES • Multi-drop of consumables involving up to 30 drops with 500 cases in a 10-pallet truck • Organised route and schedule according to client priorities and traffic • Adhered to strict delivery schedules; often working under pressure • Roll-on/roll-off liquor deliveries for key beverage chains • Completed runs as per client delivery sheets • Adhered to OHS procedures and road safety • Loading/unloading of products I have a strong background as a builder's labourer. I worked for a domestic builder, which gave me a diverse range of basic skills involved in building and landscaping. Further to this, I developed a strong work ethic and a "get the job done" attitude. I gained experience in the following areas: Paving, tiling & concreting. Further to this my key duties were to make sure the day was set up before the trades arrived, the correct type and amount of supplies were available when needed as well as general house keeping to make sure the site was up to OH&S requirements. I also have a background in Warehouse Management, working for companies including Wholesale Wine Sales and Industrial Cable in Australia, as well as managing a small Warehouse in the United Kingdom. Overall, my responsibilities included: Management of warehouse operations, including supervision of and training of staff Assisted with loading and unloading of trucks, and other manual labour as required.
