corpral, Recovery mechanic class one: 2 Close Support Battalion - Germany 2013 - 2015 Duties • Responsible for 15 junior employees • Assist with the up keep and managment of a fleet of 10 vehicles • Ensure all maintenance is carried out correctly and on time on all vehicles • Check vehicles are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness • Book requested transport and ensure all paperwork is correct • Archive all paperwork and licensing information correctly • Load and secure goods ensuring all equipment is stowed properly • Unload goods ensuring the highest standard of health and safety is used • Perform correct close down procedures of a vehicle once the road move has been completed and report faults if required • Remain on call to the driver of vehicle recovery assistance • Plan and command convoys for large numbers of vehicles • Provide driver training and teach self recovery • Provide education and mentoring to junior members of the team • Plan activities, charity events and team cohesion days Qualifications and Training Licenses held are C, LR, MR, HR, HC and MC (open) Recovery mechanic class one Health and safety at work qualified GCSEs 9+ Key Skills Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy Potential Non Commissioned Officers course Junior Non Commissioned Officers course Level 3 personal trainer
