About Me:

To whomever it may concern. I’m Reuben , a fit young man looking for work with your company. I have my heavy rigid licence, and a few months MR driving experience from Faulkner Removals. I also have my construction white card, and a set of PPE (Capped boots, fluro shirts, sun safe clothing, hard hat etc). I’m currently working as a contractor with my trayback ute. In this role, I have delivered furniture and whitegoods, removed general, garden and construction waste, and I have recently moved into property maintenance and landscape labouring. However, as this is insecure work, I’d rather take a job with you. I am currently available to work full time hours, Monday-Friday. I am also available for occasional weekend shifts. I have postponed my tertiary education in order to make some money, and would be willing to leave university altogether for a decent job. Regards Reuben

    Hardyakka Horticulture

    Gardener: I have experience as an all rounder in the Horticultural Trade. My father taught me many things while I was in high school; how to brushcut overgrown grass, how to swing a mattock, and how to shovel correctly. I started my own mowing business in 2018 to supplement my income while I was studying at the time, and would regularly slash thick lawns with a push mower and remove both garden and general waste in my ute. I have removed my fair share of construction waste from new builds and renovation sites, and am accustomed to navigating rusty nails amid timber and sharp edges on sheet iron.I have cleared overgrown gardens (including bougainvillea) using my cane knife, brush axe, and agricultural hook. I completed my Certificate 3 in Horticulture at TAFE Bundaberg Campus in 2023, and have since then have treated infestations of lantana, and have been preventing the spread of weeds between worksites. I also completed my Level 2 Chainsaw Ticket, and have felled a few small trees in non-hazardous situations.
