  Relief Depot Manager, Central QLD: BP AUSTRALIA 2014 - 2015 Relief Depot Manager, Central QLD • Provided ongoing relief management to Area Managers outside of the Central QLD regional scope and as a result successfully managed Depots in QLD, NSW and VIC with an approximate combined workforce of 40 staff. • Managed the performance of depot delivery vehicles and adherence to KPI's. • High tempo customer facing role handling issues such as, lubricant and fuel scheduling, step by step advice on applying for accounts, pricing, site inspections, lubricant application guidance, accounts and last minute fuel orders. • Managed 3PL relationships and liaised with for inbound and outbound deliveries of bulk fuels and lubricants at distributor sites and where applicable conducted vehicle inspections on 3PL fleet in accordance with DOM procedures. • Handle HR matters within the Depot thoroughly whilst liaising with the Area Manager, Regional Operations Manager and HR to the point of resolve. • Organised the leave planning of the regions Depot Managers as well as travel and travel budgets for all Depot Staff. • Reported on Monthly Depot Profit and Loss Statements to the Area Manager and conducted investigations into issues concerning incorrect or unusual expenses.

  Depot Manager, Alice Springs, NT: INDERVON PETROLEUM (ABORIGINAL CORPORATION) 2013 - 2014 Depot Manager, Alice Springs, NT • Day to day management of drivers and scheduling of deliveries to customers and warehousing of lubricants. • Lead the company on maintaining its regulatory body commitments with regards to NHVAS, environmental emissions, local council and HSE. • Directly liaised with Indervon's contractual fuel supplier IOR and maintained service level agreements with regards to annual volumes lifted from the Darwin Terminal. • Managed and organised new and current cartage contracts with 3PL's and service stations from NT to SA. • Oversaw the safe and timely rebranding of several service station sites as well as the installation of all new fuel dispensing bowsers whilst ensuring compliance, HSSE and service standards are being met and where required, conduct risk assessments to ensure highest safety standards.

  National Operations Trainer, NSW & NT: VOPAK TERMINALS 2011 - 2012 National Operations Trainer, NSW & NT • Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this autonomous role was exclusively responsible for the implementation of training for all Vopak operations, office staff and contractors within the 3 Australian Terminals. • Conducted training needs analyses on operational roles and developed training procedures, power point presentations, assessments (written, multimedia and practical) and organised external training when required. • Designed training matrixes and planners tailored to individual roles within the operations level. Enabling all staff to reach a standard level of training at the end of a set period whilst working co-operatively with operations. • Lead the development of Vopak's first training video for emergency procedures and conducted monthly emergency drills as part of a new emergency hazard awareness initiative. • Work Health and Safety Committee Representative for the Vopak Training Department.

  SUPREME FUELS

  Various Supervisor, Manager and Trainer Roles, Kandahar, Afghanistan: SUPREME FUELS 2009 - 2011 Senior Trainer, Afghanistan and Somalia • Managed a team of 6 Trainers and controlled training for 300 plus Operators with a varying range of cultures and backgrounds. • Raised efficiencies by designing and implementing an Airside-Refuelling Operating Manual (in accordance with JIG guidelines) and the Learning and Development to deliver modules to all stakeholders. • Supervised leave planning, team travel, budget control, annual training program revision, training matrixes, training material design, KPI’s, performance reporting, meetings and other operational requirements. • Ensured that the team delivered training material to company, international and military standards. Managed administrational procedures during and on completion of each training course. • Lead the training department during the ISO 9001:2008 audit earning Supreme Fuels accreditation. • Alongside the HSE team as a training representative conducted investigations and reporting into matters raised by operations staff. SUPREME FUELS 2008 - 2009 Bulk Fuel Installation Manager, Kabul, Afghanistan • Managed a 24 hour fuel distribution centre, with a multi-product capacity of 13,000 Million Litres, and lead the team during an expansion of throughput from 6 Million Litres a month, to 60 Million Litres. • Indirectly managed site stores, a fleet of four aircraft fuelling vehicles, four generator fuelling vehicles and the on-site fuel laboratory (which at the time was the only lab certified for A+ testing in the country). • Conducted spot checks and hazard risk analyses on equipment, staff and contractors during terminal operations and applied corrective actions/controls to any hazards and/or safety breaches. • Organised the preventative maintenance of site equipment and as such developed a four year planner to improve operations by decreasing breakdown maintenance. • Was in charge of all 3PL’s and ensured that in-bound and out-bound fuel tankers were processed efficiently. Minimised delays and ensured that convoys are ready on departure as required and as per schedule. SUPREME FUELS 2008 - 2008 Cold Aircraft Refuel Supervisor, Kandahar, Afghanistan • Supervised a fleet of into-plane fuelling vehicles, providing on-specification fuel at an airport supporting 5,300 flights a week and a fleet of into-generator fuelling vehicles supporting energy needs for a camp of approximately 40,000 personnel. • Coordinated and synchronised, vehicle availability/serviceability, staff rostering, safety, stores, preventative maintenance for the fleet, general administration, customer services as well as a rigorous fuel quality and quantity control program. • Trained Operators on up to 60 different types of airframe fuelling procedures, ranging from fixed wing, rotary wing and unmanned aerial vehicles. • Represented the fuel division as Supreme’s NATO recognised Flight Line Driver Trainer and Airfield Safety Liaison. SUPREME FUELS 2007 - 2007 Hot Aircraft Refuel Supervisor, Kandahar, Afghanistan • Trained and supervised two teams of 16 Fuel Operators to safely and timely conduct hot refuelling on up to five helicopters at any one time by day or by night. • Conducted passenger safety briefings and escorted passengers to and from the aircraft. • Liaised with ammunition staff at the Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) to coordinate smooth refuelling and rearming simultaneously. • Supervised the preventative maintenance of all tanks, filters, hoses, pumps, nozzles, fire extinguishers and bonding cables. • Operated the Fuel Management Inventory System (FMIS) handheld device and recorded all information for accounting purposes as well as manual receipts.
