  National Operations Manager: Directly responsible for customer relations and truck movements in Qld & NSW including sourcing subcontractors. Co-ordinating the linehaul movements of company vehicles, subcontractors and changeovers between NSW,VIC,QLD,WA and SA. Other than interstate drivers I was the sole representative for the company in QLD & NSW. I took care of any customer service issues and pallet control in these states along with any vehicle maintenance and breakdowns. Load consolidation and allocation was a major part of my role On my initial return to the company I spent 4 months in Victoria sorting out the Melbourne branch after a disastrous 2 years under the previous state manager (before my time) , repairing customer relations and finding new staff. In this time I took care of everything from pickups and deliveries to truck loading & changeovers as well as recruiting a new state manager and a totally new driving and depot staff. I also was responsible for the closing down of the QLD and NSW depots and the setting up of on-forwarding facilities to replace our company presence in these states. I achieved a more than satisfactory outcome whilst doing this in retaining all existing customers.
