  Assistant Treatment Plant Operator: Redland Water/Allconnex Water Qld July 2005 to November 2010 Assistant Treatment Plant Operator Redland District • Assist with the day to day operation and monitoring of a treatment plant class I or class II • Responsible for ensuring the safeguard of treatment plant structures through surveillance, water supply and the community in emergencies (including storm flows and heavy rain periods) based on agreed plans and implementing storm flow modes. • Management of site access and security to protect assets and visitors. • An active member of pumping stations and treatment plant network rostered on call group responsible for responding to alarms, analysing, co-ordinating response crews and monitoring the SCADA telemetry via control centre. • Committed to securing skills and resources through ongoing training of staff, including efficient and effective utilisation of qualified contractors to achieve productivity and quality outcomes. • Assist with the management of works and projects to meet assigned timeframes, budgets and quality requirements. • Continually analyse site data and results to determine and implement opportunities for improved operational performance. • Provide advice on practical site issues to ensure effective development of plans and processes. • Assist to ensure information for planning and reporting purposes, including financial, HR, site integrity, works completed and asset condition assessment to assess business performance is submitted in a timely and professional manner. • As technical and field expert, assist with management and participate in assigned projects in accordance with project plans to achieve project objectives. • Responsible and committed to compliance with legal obligations, adopted standards, internal policies and Redland Water's / Allconnex Water's values including those for safety and environment.
