    Truck Driver: LGV Driver, Recruitment Solutions SouthWest Jan 2011 - November 2015 • Part-time during my time as a Royal Marine, and then full-time from January 2015 onwards. • Working for various national and international companies including TNT, Palletline, Palletways, Milklink, Gregory's, Kay Transport, DX and DHL. • I have experience driving all types of LGV, rigid and articulated boxes, curtain-siders, tankers, fridges and flatbeds. • Trunking and multidrop experience.

    Royal Marine Commando, Royal Marines

    Royal Marine Commando: Royal Marine Commando, Royal Marines Jan 2005 - January 2015 • Successfully completed 8 months of basic training including the Commando Course • Worked as part of a small team responsible for the security of Britain's Nuclear Deterrent • Attended Military Driving School and passed license categories B, C, & C+E. This included an off road skills driving phase. • Deployed with 40 Commando to Afghanistan as both a driver and an infantryman, for this I was awarded the General Service Medal for Op Herrick. • Took an 18 month sabbatical detailed below in 'Interests'. • Re-joined the Royal Marines completing all the required fitness tests and other examinations. • Joined the Commando Logistics Regiment as part of the Motor Transport office, dealing with the movement, servicing and upkeep of the large fleet of vehicles. During this time I was also responsible for the unit administration of the JAMES system, the computer system used for keeping track of vehicle servicing and whereabouts. • Was personally selected for the position of Brigadier General's personal driver, responsible for the selection of routes and personal protection of the Brigadier. For this job I was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal. • Transferred to the Landing Craft branch of the Royal Marines, in order to learn the skill-set of piloting and crewing a variety of waterborne craft. • Passed the various exercises required to drive the Offshore and Inshore Raiding Craft, gaining RYA Level 2 Powerboat qualifications and allowing me to coxswain the aforementioned craft on live operations. • Deployed with 6 ASRM on Op Cougar/Op Atalanta as a second coxswain/radio operator as part of the anti-piracy contingent, responsible for the stop and search of suspicious vessels in the Gulf.
