  crusher & plant maintenance

  Operator: 27 July, 2013 to 6 Dec, 2013 Operator/Dogging, Crusher and Plant Maintenance FIFO (Contractor) • I was on contract and go away from anywhere between 2 to 5 weeks at a time. When I came back to Brisbane and between stints of going away again with Crusher and Plant I worked with Vici Reo-enforcement as they were flexible with me doing that. I operated franna, Manitou, forklift and EWP depending on task at hand to which machine I would operate. The job entailed rigging and erecting conveyors and crushing plant together on mine sites or quarries throughout Australia. Work wasn't consistent enough being the reason for leaving and going fulltime with Vici Reo-enforcement.

  Steel Fixer: 21 Nov, 2012 to 25 June 2013 Steel Fixer, Silverstrand Developments, Condabri Miles • I was on a 3 and 1 roster at Condabri water treatment facility, my main role was steel fixing. Having my HR license I had the extra duty of driving all staff to and from site each day on the bus and when required I would drive the water cart around site and water down concrete slabs after pours. I was one of five that participated in a hydration research over 3 days, I took a tablet that monitored my internal organs and each morning and afternoon I would be weighed, blood tested and urine sample and wear a heart rate monitor for the day. Throughout the day I would have to drink a certain amount of water or Thortz drink and test my urine samples throughout the days. The research was to see the benefits of drinking Thortz hydrolytes over water and working in extreme heat. I was recognized for my participation in the research. Our stage of project completed resigning me having to find other employment.

  Operator: 16 July, 2012 to 14 Oct 2012 Operator, G&M Civil Construction WA Argyle FIFO • I operated 8tn excavator and bobcat underground; I cleaned up under conveyors with bobcat and operate excavator by removing spoil and scratch back to prep for concrete. I would assist in preparing for pours by putting edge board up, lay mesh down and pour concrete.

  Serviceman: Feb 2012, to July 2012 Serviceman, MCG Groups, Moranbah FIFO • I serviced all machinery onsite such as Excavators, dump trucks, road trains and fixed plant. Service entailed refueling, check oil levels and top up and clean air filters. I would hot seat dump truck drivers for their breaks.

I would operate forklift to transport materials around and perform general labouring duties.
