About Me:

Studied at Braybrook College where in year 11 I was offered a rugby contract but turned it down due to family struggles..working on the rail ways took a toll on life cause the money was good up until I had me daughter 2yrs ago the amount of time IV spent with her since then would be around 3 months in those 2 years, I can't get that time back and I'm not going to lose anymore.. Travel limitations: 40min to drive to work is fine, northern suburbs and Western suburbs location's Working limitations/Job preference: I'm pretty flexible with around the clock work, prefer the afternoon shift and night, if not day shift is good, I'm willing to do the weekends and overtime is not an issue.. Casual work is good but prefer full time Pay rate: I'll like 27+p/h but I'll like to know if its not anyway. Medical/physical condition: No, I enjoy the heavy/hard labour, MR, LR, car van pod is good

    Railway Welder (Aluminothermic): John Holland Rail- March 2009- Nov 2015 Position: Railway Welder (Aluminothermic) Duties: Use of oxy and gas to cut steel rail, gantry and other scrap steel. Line rail to straight point all round top and both sides (head, field side and running edge) using littel wedges and lining hammer. Use small rail plant. Use overhead gantry crane to load and unload rail train by remot control on ground. Use of Thermit weld process to weld rail together. Use hydraulic ram's to put tension on rail to stretch steel and weld final product. Manual labour: swinging sledgehammer to hit dogs, clips, rail and everything. Landscaping, construction, grouting, and mega poxy. Loading and unloading work/weld trucks with hand tools, weld kits, construction gear and small plant (rail saw, grinders, power pack, lifting bars etc) Truck MR delivery duties; Weld MR driving around Australia excellent knowledge of Melbourne. Multi drop around Melbourn rail companys. Keep up to date with log books and paper work. House keeping through out vehicles. Leading a team of 4-8.
