Lead Operator ( Power Station Operator): Lead Operator Cogen Power Station, FPC Green Energy Main Responsibilities: • Safe and efficient operation of high pressure boiler and steam turbine and associated equipment to provide power to the National Grid. • Supervising "C" Crew shift operators to ensure the safe operation of all equipment and optimal output of plant. • Daily inspections and maintenance of turbine, boiler, compressors, water treatment plant, cooling towers and diesel generators. • Responsible for the effective isolation of hazardous energy, issuing of general, hot work, excavation, and confined space work permits. • Carry out site/plant maintenance during shutdown periods. Achievements: • Completion of site specific training for boiler and turbine, and authorization to generate and issue permit to work. • Suggested ways to improve site safety by modifying the existing Isolation and Permit to Work systems. • Designed Steam Drain catchment system using Turbine Condenser Vacuum to reduce plant water consumption.
