I was operating excavators and skid steers installing communications and electricity conduit and pits. Day to day dealing with the site engineers and traffic control to make sure for the safety of our staff. • In 2009 I was in charge of installing an 8 way of P100 Telstra conduit on the joint venture between Thiess and John Holland which is the Airport Link Project. I had 13 staff and 12 pieces of machinery (Excavators, Skid Steer, and Tippers) at 5 different locations which I had to make sure everyone was safe by ordering traffic control and making sure we had the right material eg: sand, pipe, glue. I also had to deal with the public as we were trenching down a residential street. • This was quite challenging because of where we were working the safety of my staff was the most important part for me, as I had a very tight schedule.
