R J Transport (QLD)
MC b double driver: * In 2009 I was looking for a changed and was approached to do Bread deliveries by the local contractor. After working indoors all my life this was the change I sought. After 6 months I was in a position to buy the business which was completed august 2009. * By 2015, we had 7 delivery rounds over QLD, making us the largest contractor to Tip Top in QLD. We had in Townsville in the North, Toowoomba in the west and majority of business in Brisbane. We were called on by Tip top to help teach other contractors, as well as take over rounds at short notice due to illness or vacant contracts. We even ran the distribution center for 8 months while they were going through a transition phase, ensuring smooth supply of bread all over Qld. * In late 2015 We started doing car carrying, a division of the business separate to bread due to the downturn in sales of bread, and to also diversify the business.

Drake Foodmarkets
Various positions: Drake Foodmarkets 1994-2009 * Various positions held, starting out as an afterschool casual, working my way to Nightfill Manager at 18, and finally Store Manager at 21. * Whilst working at Drakes, I worked my way up from being an after school casual to, by the time my year 12 was completed a Nightfill manager, leading a team of up to 20 at a time, to replenish and present the store ready for the next days trade. * When I was 21, I was promoted to Relief Store Manage, would go around and do holiday relief for managers around the business, travelling all over South Australia. In 2003 I was asked to move to Queensland as the business brought 6 stores up here. I was asked to manage a store at Everton Park. Whilst in the store I Managed to bring in the company's policies to the existing staff, as well as implementing procedures to streamline the stores acivities, and increase profits at the store. As Store Manager I was responsible for budgets, wage expenditure, ordering of stock for sale and maintain the presentation of the store. Our store was quite often visited by over seas retailers and shown off by the compan's management, because the stores cleanliness was always assured.
