  Shift Supervisor - Retail: Shift Supervisor - Retail Skills &Responsibilities • Daily load allocation to 250 Coles stores, which cover majority of metropolitan and regional stores within New South Wales • Execute daily, weekly and monthly expectations and requirements through site specific KPI's in reference to (shift managers incentive scheme) and in accordance with company and legislative safety policies • Preparation and planning for the following day deliveries (pre-loads) • Regular checks carried out to adhere to driving safety and compliance standards, including vehicle inspections and ensuring drivers are up to date with company policies and procedures through toolbox meetings, inductions, ongoing assessment and training • Allocating loads to drivers to ensure delivery windows and other KPI's are met to the customers standard • Responsible in the training process of new staff members entering a Shift Supervisor role • Assist in maintaining records for site auditing within my role by ensuring weight checks are carried out on a weekly basis so safety requirements are met • Obtained current certification in fatigue management laws and guidelines • Successfully developed and maintained a strong working relationship at an onsite level • Operation of in-house and customer systems WEBVIS, Trimble and GODS as well as other computer based methods for daily planning and timely communication when required • Provide constant communication to both the customer and within the business unit on the day to day operations of the sites work loads by reporting through the business's online share point reporting system (3 hourly and 6 hourly updates). • Regularly worked outside of rostered hours to assist other team members, resolve service issues or during peak seasons, within a variation of both day and night shifts • Took on additional overtime shifts, performing as a Casual Loader at the Costa's Eastern Creek DC partly due to diversifying skills and gaining a more thorough understanding of the relationship between warehouse and transport operations to deliver results to meet the needs of the customers • Liaise on a day to day basis with other sites within the Coles retail business unit to maximise fleet utilisation and responding to customer feedback and complaints • Undertaken Certificate III - Transport Operations to further skills, knowledge and overall career development.
