  Convenor: April 2012- Current Thisrole seesme convening Youth Conferences in what can be confronting situationsfor both victimsand the young person. The role involvespreparation of paperwork for court, organising venuesfor conferences, preparing both victimsand youngpeople to attend the conference. Thispart of the job can prove to be quiet challenging at times. Time management isimperative due to court dates that have been set prior to the conference taking place.

  Aboriginal Legal AccessWorker/ CCASCo-ordinator: Myroles at Macarthur Legal Centre hasfound me working with young people who havelegal issues, providing culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal people with issuesranging from Criminal, Wills, Debt or even have found themselveswith other social issues. i.e. Homeless, Drug issues, Mental Health extra. I was the facilitator to a group which I created from the ground up (GURA YURA GANNING) including putting together service agreementsmonitoring and funding submissions. I started mycoordination role for the Children'scourt assistance scheme around two yearsago, which hasseen me having to find and roster appropriate volunteers for court list days. Thisrole can prove to be extremely demanding dependingon tensionson the dayand the amount of people within the small proximity of the court.

  Solid Koori facilitator: As the Women'sIndigenousSupported Housing (W.I.S.H) Worker, it was myjob to provide support in a strength based holisticapproach to young mumsfrom around the age of 17-25. The aim of the program was to provide living skillsfrom budgeting, cleaning to caring for the youngchild. Solid Koori Families provided the girlsa group space where they could come together and learn from each other aswell asgetting information from other services that may be relevant to their cause. Thiswas a part of my job asa facilitator.

  Customer service: January 2008-September 2008 Thisrole wasa temp assignment for a sixmonths that wasextended to eight months. During my time in thisrole I wasrequired for a multitude of tasks. These including, but not limited to: Updatingand entry airway billsinto the system, Customer service, Retrieval of documentsfor thisI wasrequired to gain an air-side driver'slicense, Damage reportsif goodshad been tampered with or damaged in any other way, Delivery of goodsfrom the small parcel area, Completion of the ordersonce they had been delivered to the trucks, Faxing of documents to customsfor a clearance I have completed a dangerousgoodsacceptance course but had not been able to put thisin to place due to the short time I was there. Thiswasa very fast paced environment to which I found the role challenging and fulfilling.
