Building Capacity to Deliver – Servicing Community Needs Truck Driver Salary – $875.30 – $1000.00pw + super Experienced Heavy Truck Driver/Plant operator to provide assistance carrying out construction and maintenance work to Council’s Assets. The position will see you using your skills in both driving trucks and plant with labouring components that will include forming, placing and finishing concrete assets, stormwater drainage, asphalt placement and compaction and general roads maintenance.

The successful applicant will require an HR drivers licence and have considerable experience driving, labouring and operating small plant and equipment.

Essential

• HR Drivers Licence with considerable HR truck driving experience
• Manual handling skills
• Operation of small plant and equipment
• Experience in general labouring work
• Demonstrated ability to apply WHS and EEO principles
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• OH&S General Induction for Construction Work Certificate

Desirable

• HC Licence (Heavy Combination)
• Equivalent certificate to LB Workcover Licence (Loader)
• Traffic Control Certificate
