Cahill Transport

Cahill Transport is a family owned transport company and a general logistics service provider with strategically placed depots across Australia. We provide a quality range of services including interstate and local transportation, warehousing and wharf cartage.

We are currently seeking experienced Interstate HC/MC drivers to join our organisation based in our Victoria (Laverton North) Depot on an ad-hoc basis only.

Requirements:

• Current HC/MC licence
• Current license history report
• Clean and tidy presentation
• Dangerous goods licence preferred but not essential
• Will have a positive and proactive attitude to get things done
• Team player with good communication skills
• Will have a good eye for detail
• Will have an understanding of Work Health & Safety and Chain of Responsibility
• Sound knowledge of transport compliance regulations
• Flexibility with working varied hours

Responsibilities:

• Safely transporting freight to and from required destinations
• Perform a pre-trip inspection on prime mover & trailer
• Complete and check required paperwork e.g runsheets etc
