Production Manager: * Provide leadership, information, support, coaching and direction to all Inpack staff * Manger and oversee the daily activities of 30 staff over the 3 shifts 6 days a week including estimating, prepress/design and all operations * Optimize productivity, planning and quality outcomes meet or exceed internal and external customers' expectations * Scheduling and monitoring of the production processes/customer delivery dates * Facilitate production meetings to discuss operational targets with sales * To ensure the efficient production of goods and services are of right quantity, quality and cost * To ensure all productions of goods comply with best practice and Inpack's QA procedures * Attend meetings with senior management and to discuss operational objectives and opportunities for each month * Working with the WHS committee to ensure the health, safety and environmental policies and goals are discussed and documented. * Ensure the maintenance of departmental housekeeping standards and maintained and completed. * Report on and assist HR manager on all aspects of human resources issues and developments Achievements: * Lifted productivity by 30% on the folder gluer therefore being able to reduce a shift, but keeping the same output * Reduced make-ready times on the die cutter over 40 % by communicating with suppliers our requirements with the tooling purchased. * Streamlining the work flow reduced a lot of wasted productivity time waiting to clarify any conflicting information * Opened up the lines of communication between all production staff and sales, therefore information being relayed back to the customers.
