2/2017 - 4/2018
Sydney Recruitment
LF Forklift Driver / Machine Operator: I worked as a casual employee on an ongoing basis working with various clients as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operator.
-
10/2013 - 12/2016
Prysmian Cables
Machine Operator/Forklift Driver: I was employed as a Machine Operator/Forklift Driver and dealt with the running of my machine to produce copper cables. It was a highly demanding job and I worked to strict deadlines and targets to overachieve what was required. I attended various training courses to improve my Machine Operator knowledge and worked various shifts including afternoon and evening mainly. I worked in both a team environment and independently.

7/2011 - 9/2013
Peachy Print Australia
Machine Operator/Forklift Driver: I was employed full time to work in the warehouse for this company to learn and completely understand the operational side of the business. My role included running various machines in the warehouse, dealing with high complex orders, quality control, receiving and dispatch using a high reach forklift. Some of the machines I worked on included the printer, binding machines, folders and the guillotine. The opportunity arose where I was promoted to a sales role which involved dealing with clients on a regular basis, building client relationships which included new, existing and lapsed business, following up on leads and referrals and building a solid foundation of clients across Sydney. I was made redundant from this position, and the company has since closed down.

7/2010 - 3/2011
Newly Weds Foods
Forklift Driver: I was employed as a casual forklift driver and laborer to work for a Food Ingredients Manufacturing Company called Newly Weds. My job involved weighing up ingredients onto pallets while following strict and precise instructions that were given to us at the beginning of each shift in the form of a "job sheet". I would have my own high reach (electric side control) forklift which I would use to collect pallets of ingredients from the warehouse. The warehouse I worked in was large in size and had approximately 10 high reach forklifts driving around at the same time. My position was physically demanding, sometimes working 12-hour days/nights for 6 consecutive days/nights. I enjoyed working at Newly Weds, however I was employed as a casual which meant there was no job security. I left Newly Weds because I was offered a full-time position at Peachy Print Australia.

Circular Events
Event Manager (Bahrain): I decided to set up my own business as I am enthusiastic about event organizing and the whole workings surrounding the operational side of all event types. This has been a fantastic opportunity for me to step out on my own initiative within the market and exceed in something I thrive on. I am heavily customer focused and believe in fulfilling client expectations. During this time, I worked with many companies organizing corporate launches, conferences and events along with corporate travel itinerary management. I decided to look for a full-time position when business started to slow down, and I needed to guarantee a regular income.
-
10/2005 - 2/2008
Bahrain International Circuit
Events Co-Ordinator (Bahrain): I initially joined Bahrain International Circuit as an Assistant Events Coordinator and was promoted after 3 months to the Events Coordinator position, where my passion for the events industry flourished. Although I worked within a team, I was responsible for managing my own clients and developing business needs through existing and new opportunities. I was involved in organizing many different international sporting events including the 2006 and 2007 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix (90,000 visitors attended this event), FIA European Drag Racing Exhibition, FIA GT Festival, the Desert 400 Australian V8 Supercar Championships, and the GCC drag racing championships. I was made redundant from this position.
