Two times a week I would go to Customers residents and pick up damaged mattresses, bases or head boards and take back to the warehouse to be fixed. Deliveries could take up to a total of 36 hours of driving, including intercity navigation. Upon arrival of destination, all cargo would need to be unloaded safely and efficiently.

  Pick Packer: This role involved: Using and operating machinery and equipment (Crown PE 4500 Series Rider Pallet Truck) Correct interpretation of voice commands communicated through headset Stacking of pallets safely and correctly After sales customer service with information and advice regarding travel plans. Wrapping of pallets for safe transportation and correct lane delivery for loading onto truck In this role I was response for the timely selection and prompt packing of products so that they may be wrapped and ready for loading and delivery. I was given numerical and phonetic alphabetical commands to direct me throughout the warehouse for product selection. Correct interpretations of headset commands were essential for this process.
