About Me:

I work in a Fly In- Fly Out industry and spend 6 months of the year at home. I have always had a strong passion for trucks and heavy machinery, just as my dad did, and I would like to get a start into the industry. Everything about the job of truck driving appeals to me and I want to get started and learning the tricks of the trade and stop wondering "what if?" The only experience I have driving trucks was when I got my HR licence and some small time driving MR trucks on a wharf in Singapore in 2015. My time away in the Navy prevented me from pursuing it further but now I am settled into an even time roster in my new job I would like to make my hobby a profession. I am happy to give any truck on any job a go. I hold an unrestricted HR ticket and with the money saved from my work I want to invest in a HC and then MC licence to live my dream of driving an interstate road train.

Responsible for safe navigation when on duty, safety of all personnel on board and extra duties as required by the Master. Manning the wheelhouse as a team and solo, navigation systems monitoring, tracking and planning of other vessel movement, collision avoidance and safe conduct of the vessel in all weather. Deck work including use of cranes, corrosion control, use of air operated tools, maintenance of ships and deck machinery.

Experience in helicopter operations, program de-confliction, collision avoidance and search and rescue operations.
