    Truck Driver: Scott was employed as a full-time truck driver delivering a range of products from alcohol, stock feed, motorbikes, and a number of general freight to shops and businesses from Picton, to the Southern Highlands. It was whilst with Hayters that Scott upgraded from a HR license to a HC license using taut liner, refrigerated, flatbed and drop deck trailers.

    Customer Service: Scott worked as a casual in a customer service role at one of the busiest service stations in NSW at Sutton Forest which is on the Highway from Sydney to Canberra. As part of Scott's job involved the service of customers. Stock rotation and all sorts of cleaning from forecourt bins to cleaning the public toilets and all shop and food areas working 5 nights a week unsupervised at this 24hr site before taking his current full time job but was asked to stay on as a casual and works one day a week over the weekends. During this time he also acted in the higher position of Purchasing Officer and took on the leadership aspects of this senior role for the whole team whilst the Purchasing Officer was on leave. Whilst undertaking this role Scott was responsible for; * purchasing the materials and equipment for the $400 million dollar project * receipting of purchased materials for this project and dispatch to the appropriate project teams * daily purchase order and invoice reconciliation * relocating equipment around the site to the appropriate teams * organising maintenance teams to come and service equipment at specific times * ensuring Tenix contractors were briefed on their OHS responsibilities and ensured they meet the required working conditions * order and staff out with the required safety equipment and PPE * responsible for Tenix radio communications network - including allocating equipment and making sure it was maintained * liase with suppliers on delivery dates and where necessary collect purchases personally * working a 10 hr day and maintaining his availability to work weekends and overtime to suit the project team * nominated for employee safety representative
