Warehouse Picker: I was Contracted to different Companies and Warehouses to assist in Picking orders during Peak Seasons. These are the skills that I acquired: • Utilising different brands of RF scanners, as each company had a different brand which came with a different setup which the scanner/gun used. Picking and processing of orders, often under timed and fast paced schedules • Quickly learning the optimal stacking of each product, maintaining strong foundation layers, keeping within the pallet limits. • Checking, Counting and Wrapping orders, staging them in the correct locations ready for the client • Loading orders onto trucks, maintaining correct weight and height distribution for travel • Operating different Manual, Electric and Ride-on Pallet Jacks, and forklifts ensuring they are on charge and free of rubbish at the end of my shift.
